Toronto - Ontario's Capital

Toronto is the capital of the province of Ontario and maintains the largest population of any Canadian city. In 2006, the census estimated that Toronto had a population of over 2.5 million people and that the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) had an estimated population of over 6 million.
